WhoopdWhoop

I got the following e-mail last night.  I went and checked out the site before I posted this.  It looks fun.  And great.  And I can't wait to start using it!  You should join me!

Hi Dana,

First off, I just want to tell you that I LOVE your blog!  Thank you for writing publicly and allowing others like me to be inspired by you.

That said, My name is Mckay Harris I am writing to tell you about a website.  My husband and I created it and my sole goal in telling you about it is simply to let others know about it- Brad and I do not make ANY money off of it.  It is completely free to users- we gain nothing. Our feelings of fulfillment come from seeing our hard work be used and appreciated by others.  That said, I will tell you about the website:

Our vision was to create a community where artisans could share their talents, creativeness and creations with others not through money, but through swapping. We wanted a place where people could list their handiwork (photography, paper crafts, jewelry, art, sewn items, basically anything that they have handmade) and then swap them for other's handmade items- completely eliminating the need for money.
It was this idea that sparked the life of whoopdwhoop.com Whoopdwhoop is a unique, currency free marketplace where individuals can both list their creative endeavors and 'shop' for other's creative endeavors- all without the use of money. Points (whoops) are earned by both listing and swapping your handiwork.  You can then take the whoops that you have earned and 'shop' within the whoopdwhoop community. It's the perfect way to partake in some retail therapy and not feel guilty!  It's free, it's easy, and it's fun.
I know that your readership is full of crafty, creative people and I am hoping that you might share whoopdwhoop with them either through your site, or through Facebook.  It's a growing community and everyone that joins just makes it better. I think whoopdwhoop has a great potential, but it will only be great if we build it's community full of wonderful people.  I believe that your readers are a reflection of you and that they would be a perfect fit for the site.
All that being said, I thank you for your time in reading this and also for your time spent blogging so that others like myself can enjoy it.

Are you in?  I am!  Go here to sign up for free!
